Tom Sollitt

Tom Sollitt joined the Nordic Northwest team in 2025 as the Program and Exhibit Manager. Originally from Corvallis, Oregon, Tom was adopted from South Korea and raised in a household with a strong academic and service-oriented background. His father, a professor and director of the tsunami research lab at Oregon State University (OSU), and his mother, a reading specialist in public schools, instilled in him a deep appreciation for education and community engagement. Tom’s paternal grandmother immigrated from Sweden to Minnesota, further shaping his multicultural perspective.
A graduate of OSU with a degree in Visual Communications (2008), Tom has a diverse professional background. Prior to joining Nordic Northwest, he worked as a Vendor Coordinator at True West Presents and played a pivotal role in producing Oregon’s largest Asian-centered festival in Beaverton.
Tom is passionate about partnering with local groups and organizations to create impactful experiences for the community. He looks forward to contributing to Nordic Northwest’s mission and continuing to build strong, interconnected communities.
