Lotta Gavel Adams knows A LOT about trolls. She grew up with them - in the forest around her Swedish family’s summer cabin - and in the books she read as a child. But it was not until she started to design a course in Scandinavian Children’s literature and Culture at the University of Washington– some 30 years ago – that she really began to explore and document the history of the trolls. Lotta wants to invite you to follow along on a journey into the world of the trolls in literature and film and art - from around the mid-1800s to the present.
