Join us for a family tour of Fogelbo, the historic Swedish Cabin on the Nordic Northwest campus. Experience the charm and history of Fogelbo presented specifically for kids and families in mind.

This is a very special opportunity to experience the renowned Fogelbo with docents and Sir Ross Fogelquist, who has lived in the house since childhood. Hear about the history of Fogelbo and the large collection of Nordic antique folk art. You will not want to miss a chance to see inside Fogelbo, recognized on the National Register of Historic Places, and one of the famous Steiner cabins built by famed craftsman Henry Steiner.

More about Fogelbo and Sir Ross Fogelquist:

In Swedish, fogelbo means “bird nest” and is derived from the Fogelquist family name, which means “bird on a branch.”

Fogelbo house has a large private collection of Nordic antiques and folk art in the United States. Sir Ross Fogelquist, who grew up there from the time his parents bought the house in the 1950s, still resides there and is a passionate collector and keeper of cultural heritage in the Nordic community.

This is a multigenerational activity designed specifically for kids! Adults are welcomed to purchase a ticket who are bringing at least one child.
